I finished reading The Lovely Bones and watched the film recently. I really, really enjoyed the book. Detail, crime psychological thriller, loss, grief, in-between, and life, but I feel the movie lacked so many of these themes and really toned it down to a girl who seemed younger than 14. Almost too childish.
BUT, I do love Stanley Tucci and I think it’s crazy how they made him genuinely look like a creep. Well done Peter Jackson, well done.
I also love the photo set below, Susie Salmon and her killer, Mr. Harvey; or in reality, Saoirse Ronan and Stanley Tucci.
